Accordion List

Creating the Block

  1. Add the Accordion List block to your editor using the ‘+’ button on the top left of the editor.
  2. Click the pencil icon on the block to switch to edit mode.
  3. Add a Heading, Text, and if needed, a Link Title and Link URL. Make sure to select ‘Open in a new tab’ if the link goes anywhere outside of utahtech.edu or directs the user to a file.
  4. To add additional list items, click the red ‘Add Row’ button.
  5. To easily reorder list items, use the arrows to collapse items then simply drag and drop (shown below)

Tips & Good Practices

  • Add a ‘Heading’ block immediately before the Accordion List block to let the users know what information can be found in the Accordion List, such as “Frequently Asked Questions”
  • Do not add the Accordion List block inside of columns. This causes the block to display incorrectly when the user expands a list item.
