- Add the Contact block to your editor using the ‘+’ button on the top left of the editor.
- Click the pencil icon on the block to switch to edit mode.
- The heading autofills as ‘Contact’, but you can change this out if you’d like.
- Optional: add one or two short sentences into the Text box. This could be something like “Get in contact with our team!”
- Optional: add your UMAC-approved social media links for your department/program.
- To add a contact, select ‘Add Row’ on the bottom right. Then add any contact information associated with that person in the following text boxes.
- Place the Contact block at the bottom of your page.
- Note that you can customize the display of red lines according to what other elements are on your page- found under the ‘Settings’ tab.
- Phone numbers should be formatted without extensions ex: 435-123-4567
- Use +1 on internationally-viewed pages. ex:+1 435-123-4567
- Capitalize emails with full names. ex: Jane.Doe@utahtech.edu
- If it’s just a first initial or last name, you don’t need to capitalize. ex: jdoe@utahtech.edu
- Do not add more than four contact options. You should aim for one or two, otherwise your users may be overwhelmed.
- Do not add any other blocks under the Contact block or try to add headshots. This block is for text ONLY.
