Add the Accordion List block to your editor using the ‘+’ button on the top left of the editor.
Click the pencil icon on the block to switch to edit mode.
Select either text, image, or video from the ‘Type’ dropdown.
Text: add a few short paragraphs of text.
Image: select ‘Add Image’ to browse the Media Library for the appropriate image. Choose either small, medium, or large from the ‘Image Size’ dropdown.
Video: select ‘Add Image’ to browse the Media Library for a thumbnail image. Add a URL to the video in the ‘Video Link’ box.
Go to the ‘Settings’ tab and toggle ‘Offset Media Border’ to ‘yes’ to add a decorative, red, offset border on the image or video.
Tips & Good practices
Make sure to resize & optimize images for this block before uploading it to the WordPress Media Library. Use Web Services’ Optimizer to do this easily.
Disregard the options regarding sub-sections. These are only to be used rarely in very specific situations.
Bad Practices
Do not place an image on both sides of the block. If you want a way to display multiple images, try using the ‘Gallery’ block.
